Welcome to this post, for now we want to show how makepuff puffyourself and not only consuming it.
*.250g of Plain Flour
*.2 teaspoons of yeast (the one used in baking bread)
*.½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
*.Granulated Sugar to taste
*.3 pinches of salt
*.Lukewarm water (for mixing)
*.Vegetable Oil (for frying)
First dissolve the yeast with warm water and set side
Pour the flour into a big bowl, add the ground nutmeg, sugar, salt and the powdered yeast:and mix together.If you are making use of fresh yeast, dissolve the yeast with warm water and add it.
Add water in small quantities and mix everything by hand till you have a good blend of all the ingredients. Add the yeast you mixed with lukewarn water if applicable. Use warm water to mix thepuff puffingredients if you want it to rise faster.
Cover the bowl (airtight) with a clean dry cloth or aluminum foil and leave the batter to rise for about 45 to 50 minutes.To know if the batter is ready for frying, you will notice some air bubbles on it and also that the batter has doubled in size and is little thicker and stretchy.
Now at this time you can now fry yourpuff puff. On your stove or gas cooker. Place your frying pan on it. Pour in the oil (Don’t make it too much) Onces the oil is a little bit hot you can use a pinch of salt to taste, you can now some some quantity of the batter and drop it in the oil. Let it stay in the oil for some few minutes. Follow this method to produce your puff puff.
