Cat given vodka to cure off poison

Abuja - A cat was left ill after it was attacked by thugs with anti-freeze and only a vodka drip could save it, MirrorUKreported.
The cat was then rushed to a nearby vet which told the owners of the cat only vodka infused in a drip could cure the cat.
The prescribed medication worked after two days even though it left the cat a bit blind drunk.
The veterinarian explained that a vodka treatment in animals is quite unusual but it is commonly used in animals that have swallowed poisonous substances.
