Eldee’s music reign comes to an end

2014-10-21 12:14 Lagos - Veteran rapper and label boss, eLDee, has insisted that he has quit music.
The 37-year old entertainer confirmed this via social media when asked if he still sings, saying: ‘I told y’all ‘Undeniable’ was my last studio album before it dropped. #IwasntJoking’.
After dropping his fifth studio album, Undeniable in 2012 and a 16 year music reign he has remained quiet in the music industry.
Eldee, whose real name is Lanre Dabiri, was part of the now defunct group, Trybesmen, which was formed in 1998 with his friend and fellow rappers, KB and Freestyle.
was one of the pioneer hip hop grouse in the Nigerian music industry, and came to relevance in the late 90’s and early 2000s.
Eldee’s album during his solo career include Long Time Coming which was released in 2004, Return of the King in 2006 while his 3rd album, Big Boy dropped in 2008 and his fourth album, Is It Your Money was released in 2010.
