Women protest non-release of Chibok girls in Ondo

Akure - The women’s wing of the All Progressives Congress (APC) demonstrated in Akure, the Ondo State capital following the delay in the release of the abducted school girls in Chibok, Borno State by the Boko Haram sect, Nationreports.
The women who carried placards with various inscriptions marched on the major streets of the state capital dressed in red and sang solidarity songs.
The protesters expressed their grievances at the federal government for failing to bring back the girls on Monday as earlier announced by the chief of defence staff Alex Badeh on Friday that agreement had been reached to end hostilities and secure the possible release of more than 200 kidnapped schoolgirls.
