How to Recover Pictures From Digital Camera, Deleted or Corrupted

If you’ve accidentally formatted your card or you suspect it has become corrupted, there are ways to recover your images. Here’s how to get started.
1.Make sure the power to your camera is off.
2.Dooneof the following:
1.Connect your camera to the computer using the USB cable that came with your camera, then turn on the power to your camera.
2.Remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into a memory card reader (either built in to the computer or externally connected to the computer).
3.When a dialog box appears:
1.For WINDOWS XP OS, clickMicrosoft Scanner and Camera Wizard, clickOK, then follow the prompts.
2.For WINDOWS VISTA OS, clickImport pictures, then follow the prompts.
3.For WINDOWS 7 OS, clickImportpictures and videos using Windows, then follow the prompts.
4.If a dialog box does not appear, you can import yourpicturesand videos to your computer using WINDOWS Explorer:
1.ClickMy Computer(orStart>My Computer) to start WINDOWS Explorer.
2.Right-click either your digital camera or the memory card, then follow the prompts to import your pictures.
