The rate at which Android devices are churned out almost daily is crazy. Just when we thought we’ve seen it all, Pepsi shows up with an Android phone of some sort. Images leaks have surfaced on the web showing a Pepsi branded Android device. The phone named “Pepsi P1” would reportedly be sold only in China, and below are it’s key specifications:

5.5-inch 1080p screen.
*.1.7 GHz MediaTek processor.
*.16 internal storage with 2 GB of RAM.
*.13 MP/5 MP camera.
*.Android 5.1 Lollipop.
*.Battery capacity 3000 mAh.
A Pepsi spokesperson confirmed with Reuters via email:
The food and beverage company however has no plans to get into the mobile phone manufacturing business.

Available in China only, this effort is similar to recent globally licensed Pepsi products which include apparel and accessories.
Apparently, the company simply licensed its brand to a Chinese manufacturer. From the leaked image, there’s a Pepsi logo behind this phone. Is that a fingerprint scanner there too? The Pepsi P1 is valued at around $205. Would you bite?
