Lenthy Naps Will Make Your Child Clever – Study

A lengthy nap is a simple key to learning and great memory in a child’s early years – scientists say. The study conducted by German scientists has identified a link between sleep and babies’ development in their first years of life. The experiment involved 216 babies up to 12 months old who were tested for their ability to recall newly learned skills. After a 24-hour delay, the babies given naps showed significantly better results compared with infants in the no- nap group. That is why after learning something new a baby should have a lenghty sleep.
